Bill has been focused on private investing for over 20 years. Prior to forming Sea Pine, he was a Managing Director at Blackstone where he led investments in more than 20 companies with total invested capital of more than $3 billion. Before joining Blackstone in 2010, Bill was a Senior Associate at Arcapita focused on private equity investments across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Arcapita, he worked with Dubin Clark, a middle market private equity firm, and was a Summer Associate at Plainfield Asset Management and a Financial Analyst at Houlihan Lokey.
Bill holds a BBA in Finance, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also earned the right to use the CFA Charterholder designation.
KEVIN FIELDER - PARTNER
Kevin is a Partner at Sea Pine focused on origination, structuring, company strategy, and all financial aspects of our investments. He has invested or advised on over 50 transactions representing over $2.5 billion in transaction value including transportation and logistics, business services, environmental services, and diversified industrials.
Prior to joining Sea Pine, Kevin was the founder of Wolf Lane Capital and a Principal at the private equity firm EVE Partners where he focused on sourcing and executing investments in logistics and transportation with a strong emphasis on acquisition-driven growth across the portfolio of investment holdings. Previously, Kevin was an officer and senior vice president in the investment banking division of Raymond James covering the logistics, transportation, aviation, and environmental / waste services sectors. He also has prior M&A and capital raising experience with McColl Partners covering building products, metals, and diversified industrial services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia, where he was the recipient of two scholarships for distinguished academic performance.
